But there was nothing usual about the horrific discovery he would make on an otherwise peaceful morning. At 6.10am, his headlights silhouetted the hunched-over figure of a woman standing by the roadside. As Barry inched closer, he noticed the woman’s head was bare of any hair and her skin appeared blackened and charred.

But there was someone else that was rarely mentioned in the British press, even though they allegedly killed just as many, or even more than the “Yorkshire Ripper.” Unlike his fellow peer in depravity, a man named Bruce George Peter Lee has always evaded widespread notoriety, even though his actions put him on the list as one of the country’s most prolific serial killers.
